Sarah Newman

Assistant Director

I have worked in the Early Years Industry for 21 years.  I am very passionate about ensuring each child has access to an Early Years Program, that each child becomes a confident and independent person and has a positive transition to Primary School.  Leading a team of Educational professionals is a fantastic position to be in, and one that I enjoy. Engaging with families and contributing to our community is very important to me.

Sarah has her diploma in Children’s services and has been working in the early childhood industry for over 8 years. Sarah is a caring and nurturing educator with an extensive knowledge of caring for children under three years old. She believes children have the right to natural play spaces and materials. Sarah has recently stepped into a New role within the service as assistant Director.

Meet The CREST Educators

Kindergarten Teacher

I have been working with children for 7 years now!
I value education, as I am a firm believer that every child, every individual, deserves an equal opportunity and equal guidance when it comes to their education, social, emotional, physical and developmental potential. This being said, is why I decided to take the path of working with children.

Lead Educator

Mum of two sons and a daughter and grandmother of  two grandsons and a granddaughter.  After twenty one years in senior management in the retail sector I finally followed my passion, resigned and studied to achieve my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care in 2018.  I look forward to returning to studies for my Batchelor of Early Childhood.

Lead Educator

I have my diploma of Early Education and Care and have been working in the industry for 4 years. One of the reasons I love working with children is that each and every day is different and you can also guarantee they will make you smile. I believe children are capable and confident learners and should be treated as such with opportunities for them to show this in their environment and through having their ideas/ interests reflected in the program.

Meet CREST'S Licensed Providers

Peter Butcher

Having grown up watching his father own and manage successful childcare centres, Peter a local living in Rowville was keen and passionate to give back to the community and open a state of the art child care centre.  Working together with David his mate of 35 years a vision was formed bringing Peter's long term passion of opening a centre coupled with David's expertise in the building industry to open CREST Childrens Sanctuary.

David Mollineaux

Davids expertise is in corporate management. Having formed Jodani Homes and employing Peter his long time mate to join the Jodani team the two friends put both of their personal and professional strengths together to form the inception of CREST Children's Sanctuary. For David building CREST was a rewarding build one which he knew would foster and benefit the local community.
